Resilient Roots, Growing Futures: MSMEs in Focus
BOF took part in the forum “Futureproofing MSMEs: Tools and Strategies for Disaster Resilience” at Royce Hotel, Clark, Pampanga, on July 17, 2025. Attended by MSMEs, LGUs, and various organizations, the event brought together industry experts and stakeholders committed to strengthening local businesses through finance and technology. Vice President of Lending Group Grace D. Castro represented BOF as a panelist, sharing insights on disaster preparedness strategies tailored for MSMEs. The forum also featured a keynote speech from DTI Undersecretary Blesila Lantayona, and was made possible through the efforts of the National Resilience Core Group, which champions disaster risk reduction for the business sector.
Also present during the event were Albert T. Arceo, Angeles City Branch Manager, Rhia R. Santiago, Porac Branch Senior Manager, Michael Joseph A. Pascual, Relationship Manager, and Arden John I. Fajardo, Senior Relationship Manager, who participated in the Workshop World Café. This interactive activity engaged MSMEs in small-group consultations, which opened meaningful discussions on practical tools and localized strategies that could help businesses withstand disruptions.
The forum reaffirmed BOF’s strong commitment to uplifting communities and MSMEs across Central Luzon, not just through financial services, but by providing relevant knowledge and resources to help entrepreneurs navigate challenges and prepare for the future.
