Drive Smart, Drive Green

On Friday, July 11, Floridablanca, Pampanga marked a significant milestone with the official turnover of modern Public Utility Vehicles (PUVs) to the Angeles City SM Clark via Florida SCTEX Transport Cooperative (ACSMCFSTC).

Made possible through BOF’s Eco-MoVe (Eco-friendly Modernized Vehicle) Loan, this initiative introduces the first modernized jeepneys to serve the said route, ushering in safer, more efficient, and environmentally responsible public transport for residents and commuters. The event was graced by Floridablanca Mayor Michael Lugtu Galang, Vice Mayor Allan Policarpio, municipal council members, barangay officials, and Coop President Jake S. Cuda, reflecting the strong partnership among local leaders and transport cooperatives.

Also present in the event were Floridablanca-San Jose Branch Operations Officer Babylene S. Ferrer together with the BOF Corporate Affairs Group who paid a courtesy call at the newly inaugurated Municipal Hall of Floridablanca, further strengthening ties and aligning efforts to drive local progress. This underscores BOF’s commitment to fueling modern transport solutions for communities, cooperatives, and the environment alike. As the first of its kind in Floridablanca, this development demonstrates how accessible financing can help unlock growth and uplift everyday journeys, making modern transport a shared reality for all.
