A Golden Mark of Purpose: BOF Receives Gawad Gintong Sandigan

Bank of Florida (BOF) is honored to be among the recipients of the Gawad Gintong Sandigan Award, received during the Rural Bankers Research and Development Foundation, Inc. Strategic Planning Workshop held on August 18 to 19, 2026, at the Ephatha Development Center, Maimpis, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

The award was presented by RBRDFI Chairman Jose Paolo Palileo and RBAP Vice President for Luzon Mercedes Coloma to BOF President and CEO Paolo David Carlos, VP for Marketing and Communications Zabrina David Nunga, and Corporate Communications and Planning Manager Mark Cyrille B. Paulo.

The recognition highlights BOF’s wide reach and enduring presence in the communities it serves, reflecting the Bank’s commitment to bringing accessible, responsible, and meaningful banking closer to more people. David Carlos also shared his insights as a speaker during the workshop’s panel discussion on succession, contributing perspectives on sustaining leadership and organizational continuity.

With the theme, “How a Growth Mindset Transforms the Bottomline,” the workshop brought together rural bank executives and officers for discussions on growth, strategic thinking, and long-term sustainability.

For BOF, the recognition is both an affirmation of its continuing pursuit of excellence and an inspiration to expand its reach, deepen its impact, and continue building with purpose.
