Growing a Greener Tomorrow Through SuLi

BOF returned to Ayala, Magalang on June 27, 2026, for the second leg of SuLi: Sustaining Life on Earth Tree-planting, planting another 1,000 Narra seedlings in a neighboring reforestation area.

More than 50 volunteers from the Bank's network of 22 branches joined the activity, expanding last year's planting site and reinforcing BOF's long-term commitment to environmental sustainability.

The tree-planting coincided with the 98th Birth Anniversary of Chairman Emeritus Ladislao "Papa Choy" Sibal David and served as the culminating activity of the 2026 LSD Legacy Week celebration. Remembered for his love of plants and gardening, Papa Choy continues to inspire the Bank's efforts to care for the environment and the communities it serves.

Led by Director and Immediate Past President Susan David-Nunga and Senior Executive Vice President Jaime P. Panganiban, officers and employees came together to plant each seedling as a shared investment in a greener future.

As BOF continues to grow SuLi, the initiative reflects the Bank's belief that sustainability is built through consistent action, with every tree planted contributing to a better environment for generations to come.
