New Leaders Take the Helm as PFRB Pioneers the Future
The Pampanga Federation of Rural Banks successfully held its General Membership Meeting and Induction of Officers for Fiscal Year 2026–2027 on Thursday, August 6, at the Eastgate Convention Center.
Latching on to the theme “Preserving the Mission; Pioneering the Future,” the event underscored the need to embrace innovation without losing sight of the enduring mission of rural banks—to deliver accessible, responsive, and community-centered financial services. Rural Bankers Association of the Philippines (RBAP) President Atty. Patrick Bryan E. Absin delivered the keynote address and administered the oath-taking of the newly elected officers.
PFRB President Zabrina “Bambi” David Nunga from BOF, Inc. led the officers in their oath and delivered her inaugural message, setting the tone for a term anchored on collaboration, resilience, and progress. Also in attendance were RBAP Acting Executive Director Ching A. Garcia, RBAP Vice President for Luzon Ditas Coloma, past PFRB presidents and officers, member banks, and industry partners.
Between tradition and the rapidly evolving digital landscape lies the true purpose of rural banking, not merely to keep up with change, but to ensure that every innovation strengthens its commitment to the communities it serves. As the Pampanga Federation of Rural Banks embarks on a new chapter, it carries forward a legacy built on trust while boldly shaping a future where progress is measured not only by technology, but by lasting impact.
