Havana Nights @ BOF
BOF together with the House of David Group enjoyed a Havana-themed Christmas Party on December 14, 2019 at The Forum, The Orchid Gardens, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
One of the highlights of the event was the Dance Showdown wherein six groups of employees showcased their dancing skills through their dynamic and energetic performances. Also, the male and female top finalists for the Best Dressed category flaunted and modeled their Havana-styled outfits.
Moreover, special intermission numbers were presented by the Management Committee, newly hires and other selected employees. Throughout the event, lucky raffle winners were drawn and the night was capped off with the grand raffle prize.
BOF gears up for 2020-2022
BOF conducted a two-day Strategic Planning Workshop on November 9 and 22, 2019 at Alviera Country Club, Porac, Pampanga which aimed to review BOF’s progress, address existing gaps, and position the bank for success.
Ms. Tita D. Puangco and Mr. Ignacio Aquino of the Ancilla Enterprise Development Consulting Inc., facilitated the workshop with high level engagement from BOF Board of Directors, Senior Management, Groups and Department Heads.
The workshop provided notable discussions on the latest trends on corporate management, banking practices, and the move toward digitalization.

BOF’s 19th Branch Now Open!
BOF inaugurated its 19th branch at the HD Plaza Promenade, Guagua, Pampanga on September 19, 2019.
The Guagua Plaza Branch Office, BOF’s second branch in Guagua, provides more accessibility with the same quality of service to the Cabalens in Guagua Town Plaza and nearby areas.

Rain Relief: Donation of Raincoats and Boots to Saplad Elementary School
BOF in cooperation with House of David Foundation, Inc. (HDFI) has distributed raincoats and rain boots to seventy (70) students in Saplad Elementary School (SES), Minalin, Pampanga on August 14, 2019 as part of its Corporate Social Initiatives.
BOF President and CEO Ms. Teresa David-Carlos with some officers led the distribution of the raingears.
Saplad Elementary School Principal, Mr. Joel Mercado, expressed his gratitude as these essential items served as a huge help for the students during the rainy season. Saplad is a barangay in the municipality of Minalin which lies in a coastal area. The school can only be accessed via boat.
This event is in line with BOF's principle of being a caring bank as well as a way of showing support and encouragement to the students to focus on their studies and not miss their lessons due to hazards caused by rain.

BOF CELEBRATES 55 YEARS
BOF held its 55th anniversary celebration on June 27, 2019 at the LausGroup Event Centre, City of San Fernando with the theme " Experiene BOF's LoVe ".
It was a notable occasion showcasing BOF's unique way of catering to its stakeholders, while reminiscing its rich history and celebrating its accomplishments over the last 55 years. The event celebrated with BOF's valued clients, partners, employees and the community it servers.
Moreover, Ms. Lyn I. Javier of Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, Mr. Emmanuel E. Barcena of Philippine Clearing House Corporation and Atty. Atlee T. Viray, who represented Hon. Edwin Santiago, Mayor of City of San Fernando, gave their congratulatory messages and commended BOF's achievements and success.

Energetic and heart-felt song and dance performances from the Central Luzon Talents, and audio-visual presentations were shown to express BOF's gratitude and appreciation. One of the events highlights was to honor the late Mr. Levy P. Laus with a Posthumous Award for his 16 years of extraordinary leadership, service and unparalleled support to BOF. The night ended with raffle draws along with partying and socialization.

LENTEN REFLECTION 2019
Lent is a time of worship, reflection and, finally, celebration of Christ’s resurrection. In preparation for the Holy Week, BOF invited Bro. Harold R. Espeleta to lead a Lenten Reflection which was held at the TPKI Building, Greenville Subdivision, San Jose, City of San Fernando, Pampanga on April 13, 2019 with a powerful speech delivering the message of God’s belovedness, spiritual growth and renewal.
Bro. Harold highlighted the importance of our relationship with God and provided a moment of deliverance and reflection that divert everyone from their faith.
He also made sure that the session was interactive by encouring everyone to be participative in terms of volunteer and group sharing. He ended the recollection by sharing his own meaning of HOLY WEEK:

EMPOWERED : PWDay with BOF
On April 24, 2019 (Wednesday), the House of David Foundation Inc (HDFI) in cooperation with BOF partnered with the Municipal Social Welfare and Development to conduct a symposium and training program for the Lubao Association of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) which was held at Sta. Cruz Multipurpose Gymnasium Sitio Dau, Sta. Cruz, Lubao, Pampanga.
BOF invited Ms. Marites F. Liwanag from the Department of Social Welfare and Development to be the speaker for the program. Her talk focused on raising awareness of PWDs, their rights, needs, potential, livelihood programs and their contribution in the community.
The program ended with fun and engaging activities such as, singing and dancing performances from the PWD audience. BOF President and CEO, Ms. Teresa David-Carlos together with BOF top management also spearheaded the distributing of grocery items to the PWDs participants as tokens.
